About me

About Counselling

Counselling can support you during a difficult time by offering an accepting and non-judgemental place where you can explore your experiences, past and present. This can help you to understand yourself better, which can lead to improving your relationships with others and enhance your quality of life.

Counselling can focus on a specific issue or event, or it can explore past experiences to help make sense of current problems.

Counselling can help many personal issues, from a single life event (such as trauma or bereavement)that you are finding difficult to cope with, to more deep-seated psychological and emotional problems that may have their roots in childhood experiences.

I am a qualified Humanistic-Integrative counsellor based

in Nottingham. I have a BSc(Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy gained at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute (SPTI) accredited by Coventry University.

I have worked with adults of

all ages, backgrounds and emotional issues. I have a private practice in a comfortable and peaceful setting.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), and as such I adhere to its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
